Cristina Titus
​
Cristina Titus is a compassionate and experienced special education teacher and now Co-Owner of Blooming Hearts, who has been dedicated to supporting children and families for over 12 years. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child feels valued, understood, and empowered to succeed. Cristina brings a calm, positive energy to her job and believes that connection and trust are the foundation of meaningful learning.
Cristina earned her undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she also played basketball for four years on the women’s team. She went on to earn her Special Education degree from Central Washington University and later completed her Master’s in Education at the University of Alaska Southeast.
Her love for special education began at a young age, when she volunteered in her school’s special education programs. Those early experiences inspired a lifelong passion for advocacy, inclusion, and helping every student reach their full potential.
Outside of teaching, Cristina cherishes time with her husband, Mike Titus, and their two children, Rio and Noa, while keeping the memory of their angel baby, Tye, close to their hearts. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the lake, and unwinding at home with her loved ones.
Cristina feels deeply grateful to be part of a community that shares her belief in celebrating every child’s unique strengths and abilities.
Sarah Hajdukovich

Sarah Hajdukovich is a passionate and dedicated special education teacher and now Co-Owner of Blooming Hearts, where she brings compassion, creativity, and expertise to her work with children of all abilities. With over five years of experience in structured resource classrooms, Sarah has taught at both the elementary and high school levels, supporting students in achieving meaningful growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University. Her journey into special education began early in life, while in high school, she volunteered with Partners Club, a school-based Special Olympics program. This experience sparked a deep passion for inclusion and advocacy, shaping the foundation of her teaching philosophy today.
At Blooming Hearts, Sarah believes in meeting every child where they are and celebrating progress in all its forms. She emphasizes relationship-building, individualized instruction, and creating safe, supportive learning environments that empower students to feel valued and confident.
Outside of Blooming Hearts, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Stefan Hajdukovich, and their two children, Sailor and Luka, along with their beloved dog, Peaches. Together, they love relaxing at the lake, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying cozy days at home.
Sarah feels incredibly grateful to be part of the Blooming Hearts team and to continue doing what she loves most—helping children discover their strengths and shine in their own unique ways.
